Attendance Procedure

Effective January 7, 2012, when your student is absent you will have up to 72 hours after your child has been absent to verify/clear your student’s absences (via note, email-, phone call to school, or submit a doctor’s note).  If absences are not verified within the 72 hours, the absent/absences will be considered unexcused.  Note: Once our attendance month accounting cycle closes due to non-verification we cannot overwrite or change that absent/absences.

NJHS - Kids Helping Kids

Throughout the entire month of October, students in NJHS are raising funds to donate to UNICEF to help children in crisis around the world as part of Trick or Treat for UNICEF.  If you would like to participate, email Mrs. Kugler at or connect with any NJHS student carrying an orange UNICEF box.  In the past 4 years, NJHS has raised over $2000 to help kids in need around the world and our goal this year is to raise $800 more.  Thank you for your support!

It is the mission of The R.E.A.C.H. One Alliance to:

  • Reduce the stress, frustration and fear factors associated with bullying on campus.
  • Empower students to be Leaders in Action who are proactive in the areas of acceptance, character and compassion.
  • Create an environment of inclusion.
